This time, four multi-position security firmwares were released, supporting S9, S9i, S9j and T9+ models respectively. The firmware of the C5 control card is not supported by the firmware.

First, the firmware download:

It can also be downloaded from the [Bitmain official website]-[Technical Support]-[After-sales support]-[Product Installation Guide & Firmware] firmware download address page.

Please download the corresponding firmware according to your own miner model.

Second, the use of tutorials

A drop-down menu of Working Mode has been added to the miner Configuration page of the miner. You can select the corresponding gear to overclock to increase the hash rate, or you can choose the buck to reduce the power consumption of the miner. It is recommended to use the matching batch tools to achieve batch selection of multiple mining machines.

Drop-down menu description:

Normal: Normal operating mode, no change in operating voltage and frequency

HashRate+0.5TH/S~+2.0TH/S: Overclocking, it is expected to increase the 0.5~2.0T computing power based on the initial theoretical computing power.

HashRate Unchanged-Lower Voltage: Reduce operating voltage, operating frequency, and computing power, reduce power consumption

HashRate-0.5TH/S~-3.0TH/S: Reduce frequency and voltage drop, reduce power consumption, reduce 0.5~3T computing power based on initial theoretical calculation power

Low Power Enhanced Mode (only available on S9/S9i/S9j): Down frequency reduction. For S9, reduce the 4.5T calculation power based on the initial theoretical calculation power; Reduce the 3.5T calculation power based on the initial theoretical calculation power for S9i/S9j

Third, it is not recommended to upgrade the overclocking firmware

1. The mining machine has the following conditions: When the normal firmware is running, the computing power is 5% or lower than the theoretical value, the computing power is unstable, the board or the chip is missing, and so on.

2. The power supply of the mining machine has the following conditions: the power is lower than 1400W, and the operation is unstable.

Fourth, power supply and gear adjustment instructions

1. For S9/S9i/S9j mining machine: 1400W power supply can support +0.5T file, 1600W power supply can support +1.0T/+1.5T/+2.0T file.

2. For T9+ mining machine: 1600W power supply can support +0.5T/+1.0T/+1.5T file, 1800W power supply can support +2.0T file.

3. Gear selection, if you need overclocking, the following is recommended: first run in the normal file for a period of time; then select +1.5T file; if the +1.5T effect is better, combined with the power room temperature situation, you can continue to select +2.0T File; if the +1.5T effect is not good, you can downshift to +1.0T file / +0.5T file.

Note: In actual operation, due to the difference between the power supply and the mining machine, even if the power range is within the above power range, the power supply may not move.

5. After the overclocking, it is necessary to do downshift processing.

1. The power supply has the following conditions: It cannot withstand higher overclocking gears, and there is power failure.

2. The mining machine has the following conditions: over-temperature protection (real-time calculation force is 0), off-board, off-power, chip-off, unstable operation, etc.

6. After the overclocking, the following conditions are normal.

1. The calculation power is less than 0.5T below the target value: for example, the sales calculation power is 14T, and after 2T, the actual calculation power reaches 15.5T. In this case, you can choose to stay in this gear or you can down to +1.5T.

2. The calculation power is 0.5T higher than the target value: for example, the sales calculation power is 14T, and after 2T, the actual calculation power reaches 16.5T. In this case, you can choose to stay in this position.
